There is a voucher code on this voucher that you can use to order from us both in the online shop and by telephone.
The generator can be driven via a belt by a flame eater, Stirling engine, steam engine or an internal combustion engine will be around Convert kinetic energy into electrical energy. If desired, you can also use this dynamo as a historical electric motor by simply supplying it with 12 volts. The model is based on a historical generator. The open design means you can see very well into the generator. The collector and the brusches are also outside and are very clearly visible. Of course, this generator has the obligatory eye screw in the upper part of the housing. The generator also stands on 2 tensioning rails to optimally adjust the belt tension. The complete dynamo can be moved 10 mm on the tensioning rails
The material kit is mainly made of brass. The motor housing is made of aluminum. The armature with the winding and the magnets are taken from a standard electric motor included in the kit. The electric motor will be dismantled according to your instructions and some of the components will be reinstalled. Comprehensive construction instructions are included for the further steps in building the generator. In addition, you will find a detailed Construction report with lots of pictures and explanations.
The generator runs very smoothly and has little resistance, making it also suitable for smaller machines with little power such as flame eaters. Accordingly, the power output is not particularly high. However, it is enough to light up a small 6 V light bulb or to operate several LEDs.
All milled parts are already milled and may still need to be drilled, all turned parts are included in the kit as raw material. All required screws, nuts and the electric motor are also included in the scope of delivery.

With this material kit you can make a blowtorch yourself. The blowtorch is model size and has a total height of 125 mm. The blowtorch is mostly made of brass. The handle and the handwheel for adjusting the flame size are made from the included oak wood. The finished blowtorch also works in the model just like an original blowtorch. You can use the torch for brazing, soft soldering, paint stripping and for operating glow tube igniter engines. Of course, this beautiful blowtorch is also suitable for the model making display case just to look at.
A blowtorch is a gas burner that was originally powered by gasoline or spirit. The blowtorch is not only used for soldering but also as a heating lamp for preheating glow-head engines. An alcohol-powered blowtorch does not start by itself but must be preheated. Due to the complicated handling, spirit and gasoline-powered blowtorches were replaced in the 1970s by blowtorches with butane as a fuel. The alcohol-powered blowtorch remains a fascinating tool to this day.
All milled parts and all stamped parts (tank base and tank cap) are included in the kit ready-made. All turned parts are included in the delivery as raw material. Of course, as with all other Bengs model building material kits, you will also receive all the necessary sealing elements, screws and fiberglass wicks. A 0.38 mm drill is required to build this kit. The drill is also included in the kit.

Our eccentric press is a replica of a machine tool that was used many years ago in many craft and craft industries. industrial companies could be seen. Eccentric presses were previously used for punching holes and embossing work. Originally the presses were driven via a transmission. Later Many of the eccentric presses were subsequently equipped with an external electric motor. The actual belt drive was retained. Our model is a replica of such a press. It is equipped with a punching tool with a diameter of 5.5 mm, which corresponds exactly to the diameter of an office hole punch.
The press must be powered by either a steam engine or a small electric motor. The best way to do this is to use a small round belt that acts directly on the large flywheel. The flywheel and gearbox are constantly running, but the tool is not yet moving. The model has a foot lever that operates a clutch that allows exactly one work cycle. When the foot pedal is pressed, the clutch engages and the tool moves downwards. The stamp punches the hole and then returns to its original position. Here the clutch is automatically disengaged.
Most of the model's components are made of brass. The large machine base is laser cut from steel. All axles are made of silver steel. All milled parts are included in the kit ready-machined. All turned parts are included in the delivery as raw material. Of course, as with all other Bengs model building material kits, you will also receive all the screws, nuts and springs you need.
To the construction A small lathe and a column drill are required, as well as a gas burner for soft soldering. The following should also be available: Tap M2, M3, Dies M2, M3 Reamer 5H7 files and a drill set. Otherwise, hand tools, which should be in every “technical model making workshop”, are necessary.

The finger engine Empire has been specially designed by us so that the material kit can be worked, assembled and painted in less than 6 hours. Therefore, the pedal machine is very good if you want to give a close relative, a good friend or a good model builder a model you have built. Of course, the "Empire" can also build for themselves.
The "Empire" finger engine is a great model for the desk of every technology fan. By moving a finger up and down, we press the pedal and bring the machine to life. The machine is held in motion by actuating the drive pedal. The constant actuation of the finger pedal has a very calming effect on the user. In addition, we recommend using the pedal machine during long telephone conversations to increase the well-being (guess of the designer).
The finger engine is held in the Art Deco style of the 1920s. The finger engine is mounted on a Jatoba base plate The skin wave is ball bearing. Most components of the Empire are made of brass. The flywheel is made of cast steel.

Only a few tools are required to build the "Emipre" foot pedal. A small turning machine and a small drill are perfectly adequate. In addition, a gas burner should be provided for softening large parts. M3 and M4 taps and M3 and M4 cutters are also needed. Furthermore, reamers 4H7, 5H7, 6H7 and 10H7, file and a drill set are necessary.
This crane is a replica based on a real harbor crane from England. The model of this crane is located on the edge of a canal in Driffield, East Yorkshire, Great Britain. This crane used to be used to lift goods from ships and even entire boats out of the water. The original and model have a gear with which the chain could be moved either in rapid motion or slowly with a lot of force. The crane has a brake so that the chain spindle does not unroll itself when a load is hanging on the hook. The brake has an integrated freewheel so that the braking force only works in one direction of rotation. When you crank a load up you don't have to overcome the braking force. The crane is rotated via a second spindle with a worm wheel.
All milled parts in the model are made of brass. The intermediate columns and the rotating columns are supplied as free-cutting steel. The brake drum and idler pulley are made of gray cast iron. A round rod made of oak is included for the boom. The model is fully functional when assembled and can lift and hold loads of up to 250 g. If the base of the crane were to be enlarged even larger loads would not be a problem. The scale of the harbor crane is approximately 1:20.
All milled parts are included in the kit ready-made. All turned parts are included in the delivery as raw material. Of course, as with all other Bengs model building material kits, you will also receive all the necessary screws, nuts and a suitable chain. The base made of 4 mm sheet steel is included as a laser-cut sheet metal part. To the construction A small lathe and a column drill are required, as well as a gas burner for soft soldering. The following should also be available: M2, M3, M4 taps, M3 dies, 4H7, 6H7, 8H7 reamers, files and a drill set. Otherwise, hand tools, which should be in every “technical model making workshop”, are necessary.

With this kit you can build a rotary lever press on a model scale. The special thing about this kit is that all parts are finished and the parts only need to be deburred, soldered and assembled. This means that for the first time you can make a Bengs model building kit without a lathe or drill. The rotary lever press is a smaller model version of the rotary lever presses. These presses were used in blacksmiths and craft businesses for a long time. The small model is suitable for workshop dioramas or similar applications. In terms of scale, it fits well with our Nils eccentric press or our Leni steam engine.
The model is made exclusively of brass. To build the kit, all you need is a file for deburring and a soldering torch for soldering the frame. Dimensions of the rotary arbor press Height of the Base frame: 55 Maximum height: 83mm Width: 28mm Depth: 52mm Weight: 140g ul>
