Soft soldering paste
Soft soldering paste for brass, copper, steel and silver steel. The paste is applied thinly to the parts to be tinned and heated with a brazing lamp. For large-area soft soldering, it is optimal to tin- the parts beforehand. For example, we use the paste to pre-tine the cylinder and the mirror when constructing a model steam engine. The tinning paste can also be used optimally as a flux substitute. The soft soldering paste is excellently suitable as corrosion protection for steel parts. Bengs Modellbau uses the zinc paste for steel cylinders with a cooling water jacket. For example in the Flammenfresser Kurfürst. Stirring the paste before use is not necessary! The soft soldering paste may be diluted with water. Gewindelehre
The tap wrench is equipped with hardened clamping jaws and galvanized steel handles. When used in tight spaces, for example in model making, you can unscrew a steel handle. For particularly narrow applications, we recommend a tapping ratchet. You have 2 different tap wrenches to choose from in our shop. You can see which tap wrench fits in the table. abrasive fleece
This abrasive fleece or cleaning fleece is suitable for cleaning all metallic surfaces, preparing for brazing or soldering. But even after the brazing with silver solder and flux the pads are very good for cleaning the soldering seam. You can use pads for all materials used in technical modeling, such as brass, copper, steel and aluminum. The abrasive fleece has no metallic abrasion and is therefore also very suitable for stainless steel. The cleaning fleece does not leave any marks, so that a subsequent polishing of the components is not a problem. The sanding pads are very durable and can be used very often. Bengs Modellbau uses this cleaning fleece for soldering work regardless of whether brazing or soldering. The abrasive fleece is, of course, also suitable for cutting or milled brass parts. A pack of cleaning fleece contains 10 pads in the size 130mm x 60mm (Made in Germany)
