Our Automower glide plate has no mounting holes for the blades, preventing air turbulence that could cause an annoying whistling noise during operation. Many have tried to solve this issue with adhesive tape, but this solution is only temporary. That’s why we deliberately manufacture the glide plate from aluminum without mounting holes. Noise levels are an important factor, even for robotic mowers. Although electric mowers are quieter than gasoline-powered ones, robotic mowers typically operate for longer periods. A persistent whistling noise can quickly become bothersome. This whistling occurs due to large holes around the edge of the glide plate. By eliminating these holes, both the component and the performance of your Husqvarna Automower are significantly improved. To change the blades, the glide plate must now be removed. However, we do not consider this a disadvantage, as the blade replacement process becomes much easier, reducing the risk of injury. The glide plate is precisely laser-cut from high-strength aluminum. This is not an original spare part.
