Easy installation and precise fit
The spikes for the Segway Navimow i2 Series are mounted on the inside of the wheels.
1. Remove the plastic wheel cover
- First remove the plastic wheel cover from the wheel.
- The easiest way is to carefully pry it off using a flat-head screwdriver.
- Underneath the cover you will find six pre-positioned holes in the plastic.
- These holes are not completely drilled through from the factory.
2. Remove the wheel
To make drilling the holes easier and cleaner, we recommend removing the wheel first.
- Loosen the three Allen screws securing the wheel.
- Then remove the wheel from the robotic mower.
3. Drill the mounting holes
- Drill completely through the six existing holes.
- A cordless drill can be used for this purpose.
- A suitable drill bit is included.
4. Install the spike ring
- Position the spike ring on the rear / inside of the wheel.
- Align it with the drilled holes.
- Secure the spike ring using the included stainless steel screws.
5. Reinstall the wheel
- Reinstall the wheel on the robotic mower.
- Tighten the three Allen screws securely.
- Finally, reinstall the plastic wheel cover.
The installation is now complete and the robotic mower is ready for use again.
