The white soldering brick is ideal as a soldering base for brazing and soldering in model building. The solder seal can be cut as required. In addition, soldering and holding needles can be inserted very easily into the brick in order to fix the component to be soldered. The white tiles have a relatively smooth and plane surface, through which sharp edges several bricks can be assembled seamlessly. To fix components that are to be soldered, you can simply nail into the porous material of the soldering iron. Thus, a soldering device can be produced very quickly.
The soldering bricks are also suitable for the construction of a melting point. By assembling several soldering bricks, one can produce an excellent soldering place in which the gas flame of the burner can be optimally utilized.

Mein Holztisch wird's mir danken!
Wüsste nicht, was man sonst als Unterlage auf einem Holztisch nehmen sollte. Hab mittlerweile 3 davon, einen gab's heute gratis (eine Ecke war abgebrochen) und die halten wirklich einiges aus, was Hitze angeht. Mit Autogen-Brenner wird's irgendwann zu Glas bzw. es bilden sich kleine Täler im Ziegel aber das ist a völlig normal. Muss man halt ein bisschen aufpassen. Ich nutze 2 Ziegel als Schutzunterlage für den Tisch und einen oben drauf, dort stecke ich die Nadeln für die Befestigung der zu lötenden Teile rein. Der Ziegel ist schon porös und man kann die Metallteile super darauf befestigen. Auch preislich völlig ok.
