Product information "Precision vice"

This precision vise impresses with its very clean workmanship and very little play in the clamping jaw. The screw is ground on all sides. The trapezoidal thread spindle runs in a bronze nut. The clamping jaw of the precision vice has horizontal and vertical prisms for clamping round workpieces. There are also threaded holes in the jaws to attach a stop if necessary. The screw base can be used on a pillar drill, but is also suitable for the milling machine.

Metric fine threads
These dies for metric fine threads are made from HSS steel. We only supply you with cutting dies and taps of industrial quality, so that you can enjoy your tools for a long time. Fine threads are well suited for use in model making because the threads look more delicate. Bengs Modellbau likes to use fine threads on tank caps, coolant caps, screw connections or adjustment spindles. You can of course also order matching die holder in the Bengs model shop. Please always use cutting oil when using fine thread dies. Industrial quality The following thread cutting dies are always available: Other sizes available at short notice upon request. Machine reamers
Machine reamers for the production of dimensionally accurate bores. By rubbing with a reamer, not only good shape and dimensional accuracy, but also good surface quality is achieved. This is of crucial importance when manufacturing sliding bearings in mechanical engineering and model building. The long cutting edges of the reamer have a left-hand twist, which causes the resulting chips to be discharged downwards when rubbing. Thus, a scratching of the bore surface by the resulting chips is avoided. Our machine reamers have industrial quality and can be used to grind drillings in steel, brass, copper, cast iron, aluminum and stainless steel. Please always use enough cutting oil when rubbing, which considerably increases the service life of the reamer. In model construction, these reamers are suitable for producing piston rod guides for steam engines, Stirling engines and flame eaters. The reamers are also ideal for producing bearing blocks with plain bearings or for producing cylinders with a very clean surface. If you produce the axis bore with a reamer for flywheels, the flywheel runs particularly round. Provided you have the flywheel without impact in the lathe. The machine reamers can be used both on a lathing machine and in a column drilling machine.   With long cutting edges and link spiral Maximum roundness accuracy industrial quality   These reamers are available: Reamer 1H7 / Shaft 1mm / cutting length 16mm  Reamer 1,5H7 / Shaft 2mm / cutting length 21mm  Reamer 2H7 / Shaft 2mm / cutting length 26mm  Reamer 3H7 / Shaft 3mm / cutting length 29mm  Reamer 4H7 / Shaft 4mm / cutting length 46mm  Reamer 5H7 / Shaft 5mm / cutting length 57mm  Reamer 6H7 / Shaft 6mm / cutting length 56mm  Reamer 7H7 / Shaft 8mm / cutting length 71mm  Reamer 8H7 / Shaft 8mm / cutting length 80mm  Reamer 10H7 / Shaft 10mm / cutting length 91mm  Reamer 12H7 / Shaft 10mm / cutting length 110mm  Reamer 14H7 / Shaft 14mm / cutting length 112mm  Reamer 15H7 / Shaft 14mm / cutting length 114mm  Reamer 16H7 / Shaft 14mm / cutting length 123mm  Reamer 18H7 / Shaft 14mm / cutting length 135mm Reamer 20H7 / Shaft 16mm / cutting length 145mm  Reamer 25H7 / Shaft MK3 / cutting length 174mm  Reamer 26H7 / Shaft MK3 / cutting length 178mm

Aluminum round material AlCuMgPb
Aluminum round material AlCuMgPb 300mm longAluminum round material AlCuMgPb (drilling and turning quality). This aluminum is ideally suited for use in model building. It is relatively cheap, it can be easily chipped and worked, it does not rust and is very light compared to stainless steel. This aluminum is very good machinable and suitable for turning, milling, drilling and tapping. Even after processing, it can be processed very well. You can paint it very easily, powder coating, polishing with Autosol but also sandblasting. You have the choice between different diameters. Strength F35-38

Taps DIN 371
Thanks to their square grinding, our machine thread drills are also suitable as hand-held tap drills. You have the choice between through-hole tap drills (blind hole drills) and basic drill tap drills. The through-hole tap is suitable for through holes where the chips can fall out. Taps for through holes have a longer cut but are more stable than basic hole drill. The ground hole drills are ground with a right-hand twist, which causes the chips to be ejected upwards, which is of course an advantage for ground holes. They have a very short cut to cut the thread as far as possible into the bore and to create a thread that is as long as possible. However, it should be noted that the stiffness of the taps is significantly lower in the case of the sizes M2 and M2.5. The taps are made of HSS steel and are suitable for threading in steel, brass, plastics, copper, cast steel, aluminum and stainless steel. If you always use sufficient cutting oil during the thread cutting, the service life of the taps is considerably increased. Particularly when cutting small threads in model construction such as M2, M2,5 or M3, we recommend our round winder. This allows a safe and accurate cutting of threads with a clearly reduced risk that the tapping tool breaks. If you want to drill a core hole but do not have a table book or a thread table, this is no problem. There is a simple rule of thumb for metric control threads. Just take the diameter of the tapping tap times 0.8. Example M5 = 5mm diameter x 0.8 = 4mm core hole drill. Machine thread tap HSS With square cut (can also be used as a hand-held drill) right hand cutting industrial quality You can choose between two different thread-cutting variants, namely through-hole tap and basic drill tap.
