Kaindl sharpening station KSS including diamond viewing grinding wheel

The sharpening station newly developed by Kaindl saves you from purchasing significantly more expensive machines to sharpen your tools. Thanks to the new and very flexible design, it is now possible to sharpen a wide variety of drills, milling cutters, turning tools and saw blades. Saw blades, regardless of whether they are made of HSS, carbide or chrome vanadium, can be re-sharpened again and again with very high precision and ensuring a consistent tooth pitch. HSS and carbide drills up to 16mm are sharpened with the four-surface grind, which is advantageous for DIY enthusiasts and craftsmen. This makes drilling on smooth surfaces and curves easier, among other things. It is not necessary to sharpen the cross cutting edge. You can order the KSS grinding station from Kaindl either with or without a diamond visible grinding wheel.

Diamond grinding point

Even tiles can be worked on with this diamond grinding pen. The diamond grinding point has the usual quality from Kaindl and is particularly stable. The grinding point has a diameter of 6.5mm and a length of 55mm. We recommend the diamond grinding point for re-sharpening the Kaindl Woodcarvers Gold. Since the Woodcarver is made of plasma nitrided, carbonized steel with a hardness of 62 Rockwell, it cannot be sharpened with conventional files or grinding points.

Silver solder wire

The silver solder wire is suitable for particularly fine soldering points in model making, crafts, industry or jewelery trade. Silver solder wire is only 0.5mm thick and can be very finely dosed. We supply you the silver braided wire as a 5 meter long piece and you can cut the silver solder wire as desired. You can also use this silver solder wire to form rings, for example, which can be used to solder a wave around the shaft during soldering and then only have to heat it with flux. By this process the silver solder is equal in the required place. The working temperature of this hard solder is 630 ° C. The silver as an alloying component in the solder does not only reduce the working temperature but also improves the flow properties. Furthermore, silver has the positive property of combining well with other metals. Brazing flux is essential for brazing brass and steel.
