Blow torch material kit

With this material kit you can produce a torch yourself. The soldering torch has a model size and a total height of 125 mm. For the most part, the soldering torch consists of brass. The handgrip and handwheel for setting the flame size are made from the accompanying oak wood. The finished soldering torch also works exactly like an original soldering torch in the model. You can use the torch to braze, solder, paint, and operate an incandescent motor. Of course, this beautiful soldering torch is also just for the model showcase just to look at.

A torch is a gas burner which was originally operated with gasoline or alcohol. However, the soldering torch is used not only for soldering but as a heating lamp for preheating glow head motors. A spirit-driven soldering lamp does not start by itself, but must be preheated. Due to the complicated handling, alcohol and gasoline-powered soldering lamps were replaced by butane as a fuel in the 70s by soldering lamps. The alcohol-operated soldering lamp still remains a fascinating tool to this day.

 All milling parts and all embossed parts (tank bottom and fuel filler cap) are included in the kit. All the parts are supplied as raw material. Of course, as in all other Bengs model building material kits, you also get all the necessary sealing elements, screws and glass fiber cores. A 0.38 mm drill is required to build this kit. The drill is also part of the kit.
